Stonecreek Farm is a 70 acre farm located in Denison, Texas. Just 70 miles north of Dallas, we have mild winters and moderate summers. Gently rolling hills covered in coastal Bermuda and surrounded by cedars, pecans and other hardwood trees,

 

Founded in 2001, Stonecreek Farm is the largest breeder of Fell Ponies in Texas and one of the largest in North America.

The majority of our stock has been imported from the UK. Many have long show histories in the UK and are beginning their show careers in the United States. We select our stock for good bone, silky feather and exceptional temperaments.

A Little Personal History

People often ask, "What got you interested in Fell Ponies?" We've had other breeds of horses and after a riding accident, our search was on to find a hearty breed with beauty and a docile temperment. We did research on many breeds and kept coming back to the Fells. After deciding on a breed, the challenge was to find one in North America that was for sale. At that time, there was one filly for sale. Upon meeting her, we purchased her immediately and with each subsequent Fell we have imported, we realize what a good choice we have made.

The Fells have proven easy to train, are willing to learn just about anything you are willing to teach them and are stocky enough to carry an adult man. The Fell Pony is truly a pony that the entire family can enjoy.
